Dankeni's mother passed away on 7-02-2022, Dankeni was then 6 months old. The mother was briefly ill, her body started to swell and she died quickly. She has 2 children left behind. The oldest went to live with father's grandmother and Dankeni lives with mother's grandmother. The grandmother cannot afford the Lactogen milk and that is why we have included Dankeni in our program so that we can help the grandmother with milk powder and other basic necessities such as hospital costs and soap.
